Natasha Richardson May Not Make It
Actress Natasha Richardson is in critical condition after suffering a traumatic head injury during a skiing accident in Montreal.
Her husband, actor Liam Neeson, left the Toronto set of Atom Egoyan’s sexual thriller “Chloe” and rushed to Montreal to be with his injured wife.
Although public reports have not yet confirmed it, sources close to Richardson’s family and friends say they have already been told the awful news: she will not survive the accident, and is currently brain dead.
TMZ reports that Natasha was having a private lesson on a beginner slope when she fell. There was no blood and no sign of impact. When two ski patrollers arrived, she was still conscious, smiling and making jokes. About an hour later, Natasha mentioned a headache and said she didn’t feel well. Someone called 911 and the actresss was taken to the hospital. She was still conscious when she left the resort.
TMZ is also contradicting Time Out New York’s claims that the actress is “brain dead” and “will not survive”. Richardson is said to sedated and suffering from brain swelling, but is not brain dead.
Richardson was preparing to co-star with her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, in a Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim’s “A Little Night Music.”
UPDATE: Fox News is reporting that Natasha is indeed brain dead, and is being transported back to New York to be taken off life support.

Natasha’s passing is a bit scary, especially since no one could tell that anything was wrong at first
