Hendrix DVD On The Way
A new DVD of Jimi Hendrix relaxing offstage and in between gigs is to be officially released by the late guitarist’s estate.
The candid footage was originally shot in 1969, when a camera crew followed Hendrix around for a month and captured the until-now unseen shots of him.
The Hendrix estate will issue the DVD in conjunction with Universal Music Publishing Group.
Meanwhile, an unreleased tape of 14 acoustic songs played by Hendrix is expected to sell for between £50 000 and £100 000 when it is auctioned through the Fame Bureau on April 28.
