Celie and Nettie 1.0, (Rihanna and Chris Brown) are due court in Los Angeles today, June 22.
Celie may not actually have to testify in the case, since it is classified as a domestic violence issue. She cannot be threatened with jail if she refuses to take the stand, but she can be fined. Her testimony could determine if the case goes to trial or ends in a plea deal, which could see Chris Brown serve time behind bars.

UPDATE 1
TMZ reports that Nettie 1.0 has entered the courthouse in downtown L.A.
The preliminary hearing is set to begin at 1:30PT.
Nettie’s lawyer was in judge’s chambers this morning, possibly working out a deal which would save Celie from having to testify.
UPDATE 2:
Chris Brown has copped a plea in his assault case:
- He’ll spend 180 days in a labor domestic violence program.
- He’ll get supervised probation.
- He’ll have to come back to court every three months.
- He must enroll in a domestic violence counseling program.
- He gets 5 years probation for FELONY assault.

Celie dressed like she was attending a funeral in court today….the Death of Nettie.
