Upgrade Those Back~Up Dancers
Beyonce performed at the 2009 Essence Fest in New Orleans on July 3rd. Her back-up dancers are super HAWT! That one in the red can get it.
Beyoncé honored Michael Jackson at the festival, singing a special version of her song “Halo” for the King of Pop.
Lionel Richie, Al Green Ne-Yo, John Legend, Solange, Keri Hilson, Salt-N-Pepa, and Queen Latifah attended the event and En Vogue reunited to perform at the festival too. According to the Associated Press, En Vogue are working on new material and are also considering a reality TV show.
“We’re just excited to be together again,” Dawn Robinson said. “It’s like we never missed a beat. It feels normal again.”
The group also paid tribute to the late Michael Jackson, with Terry Ellis saying that he is “the reason why we stand here together.”
