Stefani Helps Hubby Reclaim Glory
Gwen’s band, No Doubt, performed at Neil Young’s 23rd annual Bridge School Benefit Acoustic Music Fundraiser, which supports the Hillsborough school for students with severe learning disabilities. The event took place at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA over the weekend.
Gwen became emotional after singing Simple Kind of Life. “This is very emotional,” she said during their set that included the hits Don’t Speak and Just A Girl.
One reviewer wrote:
Gavin Rossdale took the stage for a 20-minute performance. Rossdale used to be famous for fronting the ’90s Pearl Jam-wannabe band Bush, but now is primarily known for being the husband of No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani. That likely explains why he was on the bill.
Ouch. But poetic.
Here’s Gwen at the Fashion Group International’s 26th Annual Night Of Stars event in NYC on Oct. 22.
