Drew Makes Shiny Purple Work
Drew Barrymore attended the AFI Fest screening of Everybody’s Fine in Hollywood on Nov. 3.
The film, which co-stars Kate Beckinsale and Robert De Niro, is about a widower who sets out to reconnect with his adult children. Hits theaters on Dec. 4.
Drew recently expressed her excitement about making a 3rd Charlie’s Angels film, but it now appears that the movie will spend some time in limboland due in large part to copyright issues since Aaron Spelling (who founded the franchise) passed away.
“We would all be there in wheelchairs at some point and do it if we could,” Fox News quoted Drew as saying.
In related news, Drew suffered a leg injury while filming a scene with Juliette Lewis for her directorial debut, Whip It:
“In one scene I wrestle Juliette Lewis. Her skate and both our body weights were on my thigh, so I ended up with a bruise a foot long and a foot wide. There’s nothing hotter than a girl fight,” the Daily Express quoted her as telling Britain’s Empire magazine.
