‘This Is It’ Not Available For Xmas
The Michael Jackson documentary This Is It will be released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on Jan. 26. Which is odd because I was certain the studio would release it in time to cash in on Xmas gifting. Instead, Sony has opted to release it post-holidays, with the hope that you seasonal gift-card holders will spend your plastic cash on MJ.
Both the DVD and high-def versions of This Is It will include several mini-docs and other special features. Blu-ray Discs also will include two versions each of the videos Smooth Criminal and Thriller.
The This Is It DVD will retail for $28.96 and the Blu-ray version for $39.95.
A PlayStation Portable disc is also planned for $24.94.
