Celie performed NYE at the Emirates Palace in the United Arab Emirates. Over 10,000 fans paid to crowd onto the lawns outside Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace to watch her two hour show.
John Lickrish, who organized the concert, said: “Rihanna’s performance left us all breathless and set a very high benchmark for next year.”
“I want to stop shopping, being late, start waking up early, stuff like that” Celie said recently of her New Year resolutions. “I’d like to see my mum and grandparents more.”
“I want to learn the drums and I want to work with Depeche Mode so bad,” she added.
