White Stripes Drop Live Album
Meg White has been battling demons for the past few years, thus the reason why we haven’t been blessed with a new White Stripes album. So while Meg continues to sort herself out, you’ll have to deal with a repackaging of their old classics.
The White Stripes will drop a new live album is on the way March 16 called Under Great White Northern Lights, the album is a collection of 16 songs recorded during their summer 2007 Canadian tour. In addition, the album will be packaged with a documentary, which follows the band around during the same tour.
There will also be a limited edition box set which contains the album, the documentary, a DVD of the 10th anniversary show in its entirety, a hard cover book of performance photos, a limited edition 7-inch vinyl featuring live tracks and a silk-screen print.

The White Stripes’ documentary Under Great White Northern Lights will premiere at the 2010 South by Southwest Festival, set to take place from March 12-20 in Austin, Texas.
