Here’s Some News That Will Make You Barf
Remember that awesome 1987 film Overboard, starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell? Well, sadly, Hollywood, specifically Will Smith, is prepping to remake it with Jennifer Lopez playing Goldie’s character. Let’s all join hands and collectively shout “Boooo!”
According to The Hollywood Reporter (via EW), Jennifer is in talks with Will Smith’s production company to remake the film, about a rich woman who falls off her yacht, gets amnesia, and then is tricked by the sweaty carpenter she previously pissed off into thinking she’s his wife/housekeeper/babymaker/mini-golf course artist.
No word on who’s in talks to play the sweaty carpenter, but if I had to bet on it, I’m placing on my chips on the BBD: Will Smith.
