Hard to believe that it’s already been a year since the King of Pop was murdered died. The music industry will never have another Michael Jackson, and this should sadden you.
The haunting portrait above, called Michael Jackson’s Blue Eye, was shot by French photographer Arno Bani in 1999 and is expected to rocket past its auction estimate when it goes on sale later this year.
The photo was one of several options for the cover of Jackson’s 2001 album Invincible, but discarded by his record company.
It will go up for auction alongside 11 other photos in Paris in December.
