McQuarrie Wants Jolie For “Unforgiven”

Oscar~winning screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie will adapt the 2009 British miniseries Unforgiven for the big screen and he has Angelina Jolie in mind to play the lead.

Unforgiven is about a woman whose family is about to be evicted from their farmhouse. When two police officers arrive at her home, there’s a confrontation and she winds up killing them. After serving 15 years in prison, she attempts to rejoin society and live quietly with her troubled younger sister. Things don’t go as planned, however, as the paroled woman is targeted by one of the slain cop’s two sons, who are out for revenge.

The plot sounds awesome and this could be yet another powerful role for my Saint Jolie, but Word on the Skeet is that Jolie doesn’t commit to projects until she sees a finished script, so I hope McQuarrie delivers to her satisfaction. ;-)

  1. Why do these directors feel she is the ONlY tattooed sexy female that can play an action role? There are others like ME that would be perfect yet they let her call the shots bow down to her like she is a God when the producers are the one whom dont get the credit deserved or the makeup team or the specical effects team. I guess I just dont understand. I guess you have to f)&*ck your way to get anywhere in hollywood. So many others that never get an open door her dad was an actor and mom a model gee she has had it rough. She KNOWS NOTHING of a rough life. Then Megan Fox get a “chance of a lifetime” and freaking blows it. I already have the body, looks and very sexy placed tattoos but come from small town.It does make me jelous that I will never get my shot because I would be greatful, thankful, NOT demanding whatsoever and very giving. I also in interview would give credit where its derserved and make my TEAM KNOWN! NOT JUST ME. Frustrated actress.
