White Supremacists Wage War on Idris Elba
I will NEVER forgive Idris Elba for that Luther bullshit. Did you watch that hot mess of a TV series on the BBC? If not, Here’s A Clue: DO NOT Netflix it and DO NOT DVR the reruns.
In all fairness, I only watched one episode and it was awful to see such a talented and handsome black man play, what appeared to be, a broken character who seeks guidance and comfort inside the snowbunny snatch. Perhaps I needed more of his backstory, or perhaps I needed to watch the series from beginning til end before checkin’ out. I normally enjoy dark characters, but Luther is like that uncle you hate inviting over for the holidays but you do so anyway because he may show-up with cool gifts that he stole from The Sharper Image.
Matter fact, during the first couple of scenes I remember thinking “Wow, they got Idris on that Extra Bullshit…and where is his white woman because I know this broken and souless Black man is not cozying-up with a strong black woman”. Thank you BBC for allowing Luther to live up to my expectations.
Elba was nominated for a Golden Globe for best actor in a miniseries or TV movie for Luther, congrats, Idris, but sorry, I hope you lose. Ouch.

Oh, and the White Supremacists are pissed that he’s been hired to play the Norse god, Heimdall, in the forthcoming film Thor…..because we all know that mythological Gods can’t possibly be colored.
The White Supremacists are mad that Marvel Studios won’t let white people be great. One particular Nazi group called The Council of Conservative Citizens say they will boycott the movie because, according to a statement on their website, “It’s not enough that Marvel attack conservative values, now mythological Gods must be re-invented with black skin.”
