RIP Teena Marie
Sadly, the soul of all snowbunnies has died at the age of 54. Teena Marie’s manager confirmed her death Sunday evening. She was reportedly found dead in her home by her daughter. Her cause of death is not yet known.
On Christmas day, Marie posted the following to her fans on:
“May Gods Light always shine on you and your family! May you have the most joyous Holliday season ever! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!”
I’ve mentioned that I met Ms. Teena a few years ago at the Los Angeles International Airport. I was on assignment for my job at the time: Operation pick-up the rapper Mystical, who was starring in one of the company’s films.
Mystical and I both acted like little girls when Teena joined us by the luggage carousel. Teena was very kind, warm, an all around class act.
