My Take on Mammy Perry vs. Spike Lee
I wasn’t going to address Tyler Perry’s “Go To Hell” comment directed at Spike Lee, but the more comments I read from you delusional Black folks who co-sign Perry’s nonsense, the more compelled I am to speak out.
SMDH because Perry doesn’t “get-it”.
Ok, in case you didn’t know: Back in 2009, Spike Lee didn’t have many kind words for Mammy Perry, calling him a “coon” for getting rich from perpetuating Black stereotypes.
Perry, who is a Warrior for Hollywood’s Anti-Black-Anglo-Agenda, recently responded to Spike by sayin’:
This is where the whole Spike Lee [thing] comes from — the negativity, this is Stepin Fetchit, this is coonery, this is buffoonery, and they try to get people to get on this bandwagon with them, to get this mob mentality to come against what I’m doing. I’ve never seen Jewish people attack Seinfeld and say ‘this is a stereotype,’ I’ve never seen Italian people attack The Sopranos, I’ve never seen Jewish people complaining about Mrs. Doubtfire or Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie. I never saw it. It’s always black people, and this is something that I cannot undo. Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. DuBois went through the exact same thing; Langston Hughes said that Zora Neale Hurston, the woman who wrote Their Eyes Were Watching God, was a new version of the darkie because she spoke in a southern dialect and a Southern tone.

That Anglo-jizz must stay clouding Perry’s mind because he doesn’t remember when Italian American groups protested The Sopranos. He must not remember when they also protested the fake Italians of Jersey Shore. And the last thing I remember Jews protesting was The Color Purple, (remember how they didn’t want the darkies to win awards that year?).
Oh, wait….most recently Jewish groups were protesting director Julian Schnabel’s latest film called Miral because it focuses on a young Palestinian woman.
Shame on Perry for fixin’ his mouth to say that only Black people complain!! Again, he’s been trained well, hasn’t he?
I’m one of the FEW darkies who totally understands Spike’s P.O.V. At some point, as a black woman, you get tired of Hollywood’s obsession with the Mammy caricature…, which is a continuance of the desexualization of the Black Woman. And since Perry doesn’t dine on Black snatch, his agenda against us makes sense.
Hollywood only has room for two Black directors, Perry and Lee (who else is receiving Big Budgets and Final Cut?). So while I appalled them for employing Black actors, writers, etc….I don’t accept what Perry is serving.
What exactly is Tyler doing that’s so groundbreaking?
He dresses-up like a loud, overweight black woman with a Bible in one hand and Soul Food in the other. Sorry, but this is not what the Black Life is all about. If this is all it takes to entertain black folks, well….no wonder we get so few movies made a year.
The Anglos and Jews who run Hollywood longed realized that the Black audience doesn’t demand “substance”, so Tyler Perry is as good as it gets….*sigh*
Black folks are so quick to say that we LOVE to HATE on each other and put each down. I’m sorry but when I slithered out of my mother’s pussy I didn’t get the memo that said: “Now, because you’re a Negress, you must support ALL things that other Negros do, and if you don’t, well, the Negro race won’t excel.”
Actually, my people need to embrace the fact that by continuing to support rap music, (which promotes black-on-black hate and misogyny), BET, and Tyler’s desexualization of the Black woman, then YOU are the problem and the reason Blacks stay STUCK on that Hella Dumb Shit.
Perhaps this would be a good time to insert a *Lawd, Save Me!*
And since Perry is so obsessed with what Jews are doing, let me say that maybe Jews don’t make a big deal about Jews dressin’ in drag because they’re too busy investing in Nigga-stock, which History has proven is far more profitable than Jews-n-Drag.
