Avon and Saldana Aim To End Violence Against Women
Zoe “Don’t Call Me Black”Saldana hosted the AVON Believe World tour on April 29 in Chicago. The event celebrates Women’s Empowerment by awarding grants that aim to end violence against women.
This year Avon awarded a $60,000 Avon Foundation for Women grant to Chicago-based Family Rescue, Inc. to support its services for domestic violence victims and their families in the Chicago area.
“I am excited to join Avon during the Believe World Tour and am proud to be affiliated with a company committed to raising awareness in Chicago and all around the world for important health-related and social issues such as breast cancer, domestic violence and emergency relief,” said Zoe. “Avon’s ongoing dedication to women is unmatched.”
