Jolie Thanks Italians for Hosting African Refugees
Angelina Jolie, goodwill ambassador for UNHCR, traveled to the Italian island of Lampedusa to thank residents for hosting thousands of African refugees. She traveled to the Mediterranean island with Anotnio Guterres who is the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
On Friday, Saint Jolie visited a camp in Turkey where Syrian refugees are camped after fleeing their government’s crackdown on pro-democracy demonstrators.
