Pig Who Murdered Unarmed Black Man Is Free
Johannes Mehserle, the former BART police officer who shot and killed Oscar Grant while he was lying face down on a train platform on New Year’s Day 2009 in Oakland, was released from a jail on June 13 after serving 365 days for his involuntary manslaughter conviction. The Pig was sentenced to two years behind bars, but the judge granted him early release due to credit for time served and good behavior.
Of course the colored folks who protested his sentence face more time than the good ol’ Negro-killin’ cop.
The most troubling aspect about this is Johannes may be allowed to continue to patrol the streets and kill Negros.
I fear this is not the last time we’re going to hear about good ol’ Johannes, guys like him receive medals of honor and Cop of the Year. Hell, he’s already been inconvenienced with having to serve time.
